A work of Art

Another beautiful weekend. It was summer, honestly, and the days seemed deliciously longer and we spent most of our time outside. G'Marg and Pappy are off to visit Uncle Hamish and Aunty Priscilla so we spent Sunday afternoon and evening with them, going on a Beer Hunt (haha). We strolled along the river; Frank ran. Somebody (Dougal) thought it would be funny to throw huge rocks in the water, just infront of where everyone else was standing so we all got soaked... Somebody else (Pappy) thought jumping out at people would be fun too. Very scary so we certainly earned our beers.

Frank is about to end his time at daycare on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and will be at kindy three afternoons a week, although I (Libby) feel as if all I'm doing these days is repeating over and over and over again, "Not in your mouth!" and "Leave. Your. Brother. A - LONE!" They are so jolly cute though..

Apart from playing with trains and cars, Frank's favourite activity is throwing stones into the water. Who needs day care?

Did you see that?

Keep quiet, here they come...

Oh my golly gosh, you scared me!

Revenge!

Hardyharhar!

Not in your mouth!

A pikelet picnic on the deck:

Libby's new haircut. Feet on the table - who taught Arf his manners?
I AM the canvas.

Not in your mouth!

A work of Art/Arf.

Clean - ish...

What a treat! Great pix of boys at play. The little Arf-ist has got to be a masterpiece. As for Frankie leading Pappy and G'Marg astray... Hope they have a wonderful (and interesting) time in the US. You will miss them.
Lots of love xxxx

Hi there from the "U S of A", just as we are about to leave! I thought I could not post a message here so only sent an email earlier. We did have fun that day in the Korokoro stream; now looking forward to some more summer time fun too. We have missed you all, especially the 2 littl'uns but it has been great to catch up with Hamish and Pris and they are very excited about meeting Frank and Arfa next year! It is Halloween tomorrow night and the decorations are really something to see. We were not tempted to buy a little devil or saints costume for either boy! Lots of love - cu soon. xxx
