Pretty Flash

The building of the shed has slowed slightly since Dougal has returned to work, however Pappy continues to put in a sterling effort and a couple of productive days were had over the long weekend despite the shitty weather.

As any fan of 'Grand Designs' (the presenter is apparently thinking woman's crumpet...even if he is gay), the big delay is always the glazing. So yes we are still waiting on the fire rated windows in order to complete the cladding which cannot been seen from these shots.

Otherwise most work has focused on sorting out barge boards, barge / hip / ridge flashing and flashing the windows and doors - all soaks up lots of time.

We are getting there however and with some fine weather (and the windows!) we should have this baby weather tight this weekend.

The best news is that we now have a cover porch area in which we can drink a beer at the end of the day even if it starts to rain!

Provided this goes ok then the plumber and sparky will be on site next week.
