The concept of time

All grown up

Feeding time with Edie (who turns one this week) and Isla

Biscuit?

I'm not a baby anymore.

Yes, Time. It's a funny old thing. Patience, even funnier. Is this baby going to be a Virgo or a Libra? Will s/he arrive today or do we have to wait until the start of October? Yep, there's possibly/probably plenty of time for you to still enter the sweepstake - big prizes to be won...

Day Care for Frank ended last week so he's eager for outings. Last night he went and stayed with G'Marg and Pappy and isn't back yet (hopefully he didn't keep them awake and remembered to clean his teeth). Libby and Dougal didn't know what to do with themselves, peeping in at his empty room and still waking up at the usual time. He's so grown up!

We're trying hard to focus on NOW and enjoy our precious time as a family of three - but we can't wait to meet the baby and conversation keeps coming back to 'when'!!!!

Dude - looks like you are out of luck with the sweepstake with your pick of the 14th. Might happen, but only if we eat vindaloo for dinner tomorrow. I keep on asking - is baby coming today to get the response each time, maybe tomorrow....

Must try and be more patient.

I reply -
Be patient? Ha! Easy for you to say, you're only waiting on the birth of your next child - I've got the chance to win a dirty nappy change slipping through my fingers here...

C'mon Libby! Does it still count if it's the 14th in the UK? You know, time zones and all that.

Personally, I think the 14th sounds like a superb date to have this baby. I'll do what I can - you're somewhat of an expert at nappy changing afterall...

Frank was a happy little camper staying with us for the night and we look forward to many more times. He has his Pappy right where he wants him and they play trucks and diggers and bulldozers etc with all the furniture and toys they can. Pappy never took his own children to the zoo - he always claimed he was over-zooed as a kid himself-but has been twice with Frank and watches the Zoo programme with interest. Roll on the 27 September - my new guessimate for the arrival. Lots of love

Dammit to hell, I keep checking in here every day and there's still no baby! C'mon people, sort yourselves out.

At least update...

Due date today - thought maybe this one would be more like me (ie punctual) but it's obviously biding his/her time. Ginny has predicted Tuesday as 'there's a storm coming'. A storm the day before our wedding, a storm when Frank was on his way...
