Fair enough comment from Trevor that there are devoted fans checking in daily to see what's happening babywise and we haven't even been nice enough to update the blog. Not that we've been doing much.

The due date has now come and gone (22 September) so that rules many of you out of the sweepstake - all those optomists who, like us, hoped this baby would be punctual at the very least. The baby will be induced after ten days if no sign - so that's 2 Oct. There WILL be a baby in the next week and a bit!

We managed to keep busy last week by catching up with friends, watching The Bucket Fountain while we ate our lunch, playing at various playgrounds (the slides are definitely Frank and Dad's favourites but a tad uncomfortable for Mum), soaking up the sun in the backyard and even playing with the hose.

This weekend Dave has been in town (a friend from the UK who now lives in New York) so we've been showing off Wellington which has been summery until today. A really cool weekend but we were hoping Dougal wouldn't have to go to work tomorrow - he's going to have to iron a shirt or five...

Anyway, promise to let you know and thank you for all the supportive texts, emails, phone calls and visits. Bring it on!!!!
