April Madness (now that it's May)

April is a BUSY month in our family: wedding anniversary, lots of important birthdays, Easter holidays. So here's a very quick recap, mostly in pictures, of what we've been UP to...

Yep, finally! An incredible-amazing-words-can't-describe flight in a hot air balloon. And a weekend away in the Wairarapa to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary (so willow was very appropriate as the basket was made of it). Then a family day trip up the Kapiti Coast for a tram ride for all four of us.

Followed by Granny Ro's birthday!

Then Libby's then Dougal's...

and Priscilla's (here's the card Frank made for her of Aunty P and Uncle H 'holding hands')...

Then it was Pappy's turn and G'Marg organised a Gruffalo party! Mel, you'll be laughing - she thinks kiwis are crazy about dressing up.

A mouse, a fox and an owl.

We ate owl icecream, scrambled snake, you name it, as well as playing cool games
like
guess who this is????
I'm a Gruffalo, rarrrrrrr

Pappy wasn't too sure about us all - maybe this was the birthday he turned wise?

Can't wait for your next party, Pappy!

Especially if you have Pumpkin Pie.
Pappy's Pumpkin Pie!

Wellington needed a break from us so we headed to the South Island for a week and climbed lots of trees and biffed leaves around.

Unfortunately someone forgot to charge the camera (Tigerrrr) so there aren't any photos of the rellies, the farm, the Ashburton Playground (which was declared the best ever), or bleary eyed parents at 5:15am.
We visited (Great) Nana Macbrayne, too. We hope she knows how loved she is.

A VERY cool rocket ship the boys 'constructed'.

Kenny and Eminem show off their new hoodies.

Hope we made you smile!

Hey guys, long time no chat - mostly due to my internet connection being too rubbish to allow actual connection and my innate inability to communicate through the medium of that new-fangled telephone thingy.

However, appearances to the contrary, you are often in my thoughts and lo I have finally made it here.

Congrats on your wedding anniversary (hot air ballooning is lots of fun, eh)
Our children too are huge Gruffalo fans so it seems they continue to led parallel lives in development and tastes.

Things are busy here with the new house well underway. Looking forward to getting in - hopefully before Christmas.

Must try to catch up properly some time - do you have Skype?

Love to all
Trev.

P.S. Good to see you're managed to corner the Asian blog market.
