Summer Holidays
After a week back at work it is good to look back through the photos of our 2 week Xmas break and remember all the good things because we did have a great time and it was not really at all marred by the drive home from Napier with the 4 hours of whinging and screaming...
The summary:
- Xmas here at G'Marg and Pappys - good time and too much food had by all
- A few days sunning, surfing and catching up with folks in Tauranga and staying with RoRo
- A few days baking in Napier and the Bay c/o Emily who was smart enough to go away when we came to stay. I bet the bloke who lives under her wished he had done the same as the hot nights lead to some restlessness at all hours.
We did have a great time though and caught up with lots of friends which was great. And I think every day involved a swim and / or play under the hose at least twice which is my mark of a good holiday.
Anyway, summer snaps. Also useful reminders given that Wellington weather seems to think its time for the leaves to drop already.

Great to see the summer photos with family and friends and you all enjoying the sun, the water and the break away from work and the sunniest but windiest city. Arthur may not become a sumo wrestler but I think Frank will be a poet - yesterday while we were dancing to a CD he looked out othe window and said "Look G'Marg,the trees are dancing too". LOL G'Marg xxx
Frankie's certainly an original thinker - at my place he was walking a very compliant, tail wagging (miniature poodle) Molly around and around on her lead when he proudly explained: "Look, holding hands!" AND at 22mths he was saying "combine harvester" perfectly, knews what it was and where to find a picture of one in his favourite tractor book. At three months, Arthur was already very chatty and smiley. What darling little boys! Who can help but be doting grandparents, eh Marg?
