Growing pains

After the initial excitement, the feeling of not being sure whether having a smaller brother is such a good idea is starting to dawn upon Frank. Some outrageous behaviour today is making us feel glad we soaked up a few episodes of the Super Nanny with Time Out and The Naughty Corner being brought out. Even (almost) 3 year old pal Isla told Frank he needed some time out today.
However it's all not that bad and we are getting there day by day thanks in big part to some sterling grand-mothering by Rosaleen. She is escaping back to Tauranga soon for a much needed holiday.
The A-man is starting to make some really cute gurgling noises and responses to silly faces and us making those baby noises we alway swore we would never make. Apart from being very disappointed with his first ever All Blacks game, he is doing well (oh...and reacting to some anti-biotics he was on which gave him a full body rash and resulted in us spending all of Saturday at the after hours clinic and A&E - all fine now though).
Libby is getting better day by day and back to repeating everything she says - "Ohhh, did you do a fart, did you do a fart?"
Dougal is back at work part time, but would rather be at home full time - might have to be some long weekends coming up.

Does this look like the face of someone who would misbehave?

They're both so gorgeous - surely they're total angels?!

And I'm loving Frank's Daniel Carter-esque 'do. Goes well with the ABs top.

I can't wait to get to know both young men when I come home next year!

I really can't believe Frank would be "norty" so am taking this report with a grain of salt ( & a glass of merlot)
Both wee men look to be in top form & it's great to see the up-dates.

Yes it does look like the face of a little boy out to test the reaction of his parents to some naughty behaviour. Butter would not melt in it! You have to accept it - this is just the beginning of some difficult negotiations.
