Tauranga holiday

Check out the sunhat! Thanks to The Rose clan for the lend of The Saucer

Here's my new buddy, Oscar Hindrup (you're not going anywhere, buddy!)

Grandad Macbrayne!

Another new buddy, Lily Njissen.

We're back safe and sound in Wellington after a great holiday in Tauranga. Lots of catching up with important people - all four grand parents - friends and babies but we also had time to soak up the sun and play.

Dougal managaed a day's fishing and two days watching the World Mountain Biking Champs which were amazing! Mum and Dad even got in a movie and a meal out while Granny Ro babysat.

The week flew by and suddenly it was Sunday - but the holiday didn't end there as the car broke down in Bulls and we spent a night with The Grants in Feilding (thank you so much!!!). The List family now has a new car...

Thanks to everyone for the catch ups, prezzies and hugs. Off to Napier this weekend for Bevan and Odele's wedding so more photos next week.

Fun in the sun

Frankie at the beach (jersey but bare feet)

Hehe
Look at him go!
An original art work (worth millions)

Just a quick update before we head off to Tauranga where Frank will get to see all of his grandparents and some more baby friends. Yay! We're off for a week - what a coincidence that the World Mountain Bike Champs are on while we're up that way...

Frank's had a cool week, including a trip to the zoo with Jamie and Isla (he was more interested in what Isla was doing than anything else and fell asleep before we got to the lions AGAIN!) and a play on the beach. He's been really chatty, probably imitating us: "Ya ya ya ya ya" and 'grrrr grrr bum bubba grrr".

More news when we get back from our holiday.

A big week

Emma came to 'play'.

Sitting up (and doing the haka)

Rubber duckie...

He's so cute, we cloned him!

I do not like green eggs and ham (banana custard)

On Thursday, Frank decided he would sit up all by himself so that he could really see what's going on. There have been a couple of face plants but he's much happier on his bum than on his back these days.

Not much news really - but wanted to post some more photos for those of you who have been pleading for more...

Incase you missed a posting from last week, Frankie is tall and heavy! 8.1kg, the big bruiser! The Plunket nurse described him as 'visually insatiable' - in other words, he has gawkalitis, haha!

Five months

Five months old already! Time flies when you're having fun and not-so-wee Frankie is definitely having lots of that. He's had a whirlwind of social sojourns and sleeps soundly at the end of every busy day (long may it last!)

The List grandies came down for a weekend bearing presents and zillions of cuddles. They took Frank to the Constable exhibition, watched him swim, played even more enthusiastically than him at a toy shop, took him for walks and Grand Marg even babysat on Saturday night. He's been doing the haka - slapping his dimply thighs - ever since the ABs won the Cup.

The food adventure is fun! He's besotted with anything orange but isn't impressed with apple even when it's disguised with berries and banana. Just the sight of the high chair gets his arms waving in excitement.

So, all good here. Only a week and a half until we head up to Tauranga so looking forward to catching up with those of you up that way...

Getting in some line out practise with Dad

Growing a goatie... like Dad

I have the grand parents right where I want them!
