So this is Christmas (and a new addition to the family...)

First of all, Season's Greetings! We hope you had a marvellous Christmas and had some time to catch up with family and friends. Ours was lovely - a big merci beaucoup to those who helped make it so.

Without further-a-do, some photos:

Finn's 3rd b/day - and we met his twin sisters, Molly and Sophie (sorry, no photos - I think Woman's Day has first dibs... haha)
I can never resist a brother shot. They were eating ice blocks on the deck and were quiet for a whole two minutes.
Xmas Day and a brunchy-bbq at Marg and Kerry's. Scallops, lamb, oysters, fruit salad... I'm full just thinking about it. Followed by a picnic in the afternoon and grazing until late.
Ram-bow

Arf in a hat.

Frank in two hats.Ro oohs and aahs.Cheers, Kate (in a hat)! Erina!

Frank and Arf love Aunty Emily.

Arf and his new best friend, E.J.

Dad (in a new hat) and his boy, Arfalarfa.

Frank: "I'm never going to be grown up and have super powers... Mum, can you see the green lights flashing out my eyes and the lellow lights flashing out my knees?"
Marg and Frank share a moment - while Arf absconds with someone else's present...

Laughing.
Kerry? Kerry?
The boys give Aunty Emily a work out.

And now, presenting the latest member of our family:
Tigerrrrrrr...

These pictures were taken within twelve hours of him joining us. Talk about our perfect kitty.

the MAN CAVE!

As you may be aware, our place has been a building site for the past couple of months...

Where once we had grass (weeds), a small wooden shed and space to play, we now have piles of timber, deep holes and the skeletal frame emerging of a genuine MAN CAVE!

Helped significantly by a cast of many, this project is slowly taking shape.

Special thanks already to Pappy on hammer
G'Marg, Ro, Libby on boys, scones and cakes
Muzz and Jon on second hammer and master builder Paul
Frank and Arthur on measuring things nd very helpful help...

Some photos below of this project in its stages which should speak for themselves

once upon a time...

we moved a little shed...

to create space...

to dig a hole...

to build a box...

and dig some holes...

we got around a few trucks full of stuff...

poured some concrete...

and started to build...

with a little help...

it started to grow...

and pass its building inspections!

The bloke from the council has twice said at our building inspections "very tidy - nice job" - he thinks me an Pappy are pros - you can see why.

Lots to do over XMas with cladding to go on and windows to go in - so drop on by and bring a hammer and a friend!
