Movember

Yep - its dodgy Mo-stache time of yeah. So a shot of my ugly mug, plus for some balance some cuties of the star of the show...

Mr Movember. It looks even better in action. Libby even commented "thats a very manly moustache". High praise indeed, maybe it will stay.

"EGGY!"

The wild things now roam our lounge...

On the move...

Jane with Frank. Tony on the bbq.

Crawling! Check out the three teeth.

The Camping crew.

The Boys in the flash new tent.

Mischief Maker Extraordinare...

Yes, Frank started crawling yesterday! It's been on the cards for a while but there's no stopping him now - nothing is safe from the intrepid traveller. Especially books. And cords. And snails when I'm hanging out the washing.

We had a great time camping out at Paekakariki at the weekend with excellent company, food and our flash new tent. The weather packed in on Sunday so we packed up in a mad hurry but Saturday was stunning. It only took about half an hour to get out there and the camping ground is fantastic so we'll definitely be doing that again.

Back to the crawling! The tent surface probably helped, as did catching up with some of his buddies on Thursday where all the babies were climbing over each other and racing for toys. Life has definitely changed as a result - and it's only the next day!

Visitors

Frank with Great Aunty Eileen
Mischief? Me? Never. Yes, it's been raining a bit in Wellington.
Great Aunty Marie
Suspicious!

How exciting: more rellies for Frank to meet! This time it was Great Aunt Eileen and Denis over from Perth for The Golden Oldies Rugby. Frank and Libby watched a game where Eileen scored a hat trick - Frank squealed his support from the sidelines.
Great Aunt Marie also paid a visit and Frank had a great time playing with her. You have to watch it though when you stand him up, it's really hard to get him to sit again!
We watched the firework display from the waterfront in Petone with Lani, Jamie, Isla and Edie. All three of the kids must have thought it was all some kind of wonderful dream, falling back asleep as soon as we got home.
Frank officially has three teeth but won't let us see what else is going on in there (definitely something as he's been a bit miserable at night...) Last time I said left hand side but I meant right so lucky I wasn't driving...
Next weekend we're off camping in the huge new family sized tent which takes up our entire back yard. A few friends are planning on joining us so should be fun.
It's been a very social time once again for Frank and he's lapping it all up. It's not called 'showing off', it's 'having fun with everybody watching on and smiling'. He claps now, waves and head bangs - honestly.

8 MONTHS

Frank - eight months and full of mischief

Finally a picture of Phoebe and Iris with Granny Ro and Frank

Some of Frankie's coffee buddies

Chaos!

We're on a bit of a roll with the blog updates lately and feeling pretty pleased with ourselves.

Frankie turned eight months on Thursday and had friends around for coffee. Lots of noise (squealing competitions) and sharing of toys, with hungry little babies eyeing up all the food The Mums brought around. Fun, definitely.

The wee fella has a tooth through and a gum full on the way - all on the left hand side for some reason. The slithering backwards is still going well and he's very good at turning around on his belly, having gained enough confidence to go from his bum to his tum. The waving is his favourite trick though, especially when he sees pretty ladies, and there's even been a bit of random clapping. No wolf whistles yet, thank goodness.

Hi every one, from The Frankstar.
