Looking smart

Frank's getting to be a bit of a dab hand at parties now and had some helpful hints for Arthur before heading off to celebrate Leon's 2nd birthday...

Arthur checks himself out. "Yep. Looking good."

Frank having a run through of his speech:
Party shirts.

"I love you, Arfur!"
"You gotta learn to pace yerself, bruvva," laughs Frank.

"Can I have a party, Mum? Pleeeeeeease?"

Frank. The Knight.

Frank's King of The Castle. That's even better than being a knight.

Check it out! Marg (G'Marg) and Kerry (Pappy) arrived on Saturday with Frank's birthday present - his very own castle. He hasn't stopped climbing up and sliding down since. Sometimes he varies it a little by sliding backwards or sending a toy down first. the audience is expected to clap and cheer each time he reaches the top - and the bottom. Yay! Yay! Yay! Ooops, yay! Fun indeed. Thank you very much M and K, it's a wonderful present for both the boys (I wonder if I could get the nappies dry under there if it's raining?)

Flus are over, the sun has been shining and we have lots of adventures planned. Hope the same goes for you...

Frank is TWO!

Tough work getting past Security...

Two.

Emily and Priscilla have gotta love this t-shirt...

The Cake.Arf and G'Marg.
Knackered after all the celebrating.
That's right, Frank is now a big boy. Two. We're still getting used to saying it and Frank's still singing "Happy Birthday to FrankFrank" several days later.
It was a lovely day, although unfortunately we had to cancel the party as we've all been under the weather. Frank's on antibiotics for a nasty ear ache and spent most of Sunday night awake and upset so we know cancelling was the best thing to do even if it meant we had to eat all of the cake by ourselves...Murray did his best to help and we flogged some off on the Fastiers (even though Brett claims he isn't a cake-eater), and Frank had more fun running his piece over with the concrete mixer than actually eating it BUT he did love the candles.
And the balloons.
And the cards.
And the presents.
But not The Birthday Beats from Arthur.
Arthur is teething and has a runny nose but joined in happily. He already knows what he wants for his cake. But you will have to wait 7 more months, mate. He's loving hanging out with Pappy on Wednesdays and almost has sitting up sussed.
