Monkeying around

The monkeys hit the streets of Mt. Vic.

Monkeys love working in tandem (Phoebe and Frank).

Haha! No idea who the lady is but that monkey is telling her who's boss.

Ooohoohahhahh

The little girl in white was playing on her own until the monkey crew paid a visit.

Apparently you're allowed to take photos of monkeys, just not of Frank being Frank!

Lily watches on, bemusedly? Amusedly? Amazedly?

Iris Monkey and Frank Monkey get into the swing of it.
It's been an awesome weekend away camping so Dougal will post another blog sometime this week but I just wanted to put up some cute photos of the boys and the Campbell girls up at the Mt. Vic. playground the other day. I was tempted to write some corny captions but think I'll hit the hay instead - the pictures say it all, anyway! Oh and that reminded me of these monkey pictures we took in India (FOUR YEARS ago!!!)

Aunty Priscilla - moments after being screamed at by those two 'cute' monkeys. Hehe!

Love, Sunshine and Happiness

I've just sat down to update the blog and Arf has decided to start bellowing. He is too busy for sleep and food these days. Man.

All good with us. We've had some gorgeous summery days and a visit from Ro. Tuesday night was heaven for the boys - three grandparents at their beck-and-call...

Better rescue Arthur. Photos for the fans:

Granny Ro came to stay and had both boys constantly vying for her attention.

Remember you're a Womble.

Trying to keep up with Arf is getting harder these days - he's a pretty fast walker now and is always wanting to go in the opposite direction to everyone else.

Ganging up on Dad!

Youch!

Bliss.

Frankie, just wait 'til your 21st, sweetheart!

Finn, Frank and Arf chow down together (as usual!)

Finn Hereaka Bowden - how cute are you, matey? Almost two...

Toddlerdom

Yep, Arf's walking! He decided it was a good idea at Labour Weekend, on Aunty Emily's birthday. Spookily, it was to the day Frank began walking - to commemorate Granny Ro's 60th - and bang on 13 months as well. Anyway, he's speedy, has falling pretty much under control (a helmet might still be an idea...) and can stop in his tracks and do a 360. Every now and again he chases Frank who freaks out a bit!

Apologies to those who can't watch the video clips. If you can, may I suggest muting the first one - my voice sounds ridiculous! I'd had a coffee. Haha.

Sitting in their 'boat' and even turning the pages in tandem (at random in Arf's case). Franks is 'reading' - word for word - The Gruffalo.

We visited The Campbells of Titahi Bay and had a fantastic time in the sun. A bike each, except for Lily who was kicking around in the port-a-cot and perhaps doing air-cycling, I wouldn't put it past her... Arf goes against the tide (surprise).

You must eat the biscuit or you can't play.

Playing Silly Buggers (such a funny expression - that and Arf's face)

If you're wondering why Arthur is dominating the blog lately, it's mainly because Frank doesn't stay still long enough for a photo. He is one busy boy. He's loving kindy.
We're pleased to have G'Marg and Pappy back and to hear Granny Ro has booked a ticket for later in the month - yay!
